CATEGORIES ADMITTED

If there is not enough teams to complete a category, the organizers reserve the right to group teams of different years together in the same group (with a maximum difference of one year).

MEN'S

Men Open (no age limit)
Men 2009/2010 U18M (born in 2009/2010 and later)
Men 2009/2010 U16M (born in 2009/2010 and later)
Men 2011/2012 U14M (born in 2011/2012 and later) – female players admitted in this category)

WOMEN'S

Women Open (no age limit)
Women 2009/2010 U18F (born in 2009/2010 and later)
Women 2009/2010 U16F (born in 2009/2010 and later)
Women 2011/2012 U14F (born in 2011/2012 and later)

RULES FOR THE TOURNAMENT (exceptions to the EBIT27 GENERAL RULES)

  1. 12 players allowed in every game
  2. Games will last for four quarters of 10 minutes each. The clock will only be stopped in the last minute of last quarter. The break between the second and third quarter lasts 2 minutes, and each team is entitled to one time out of 1 minute in each quarter. In the event of a draw at the end of the game, extra time of 1 minute will be played, stopping the clock, without any break and without changing ends. If the draw continues, further extra times of 1 minute will be played.
  3. A player must leave the game at the 4th foul
  4. Team fouls at 4 fouls; two free throws from the 5th foul.
  5. The changeover will be a “flying change”. The player wishing to be changed over, must first inform the timekeeping table. The changeover takes place in front of the timekeeping table on the middle line. A changeover may only be made by the team in possession of the ball. If the replacement player goes on the court before the retiring player leaves it, this will be marked as a technical fault against the team making the replacement wrongly.
  6. Categories U18 – U16 and U14 could play their games in a smaller court (indicatively mt. 22 x mt. 13)

Each team is invited to bring a referee with them to officiate the games..
The referee's food and lodging will be paid for by the Organization.

Every team traveling with its Referee, will receive
ONE EXTRA 50& DISCOUNT ON 1 REGULAR FEE

at the following conditions:

  • The Referee must be active
  • Maximum 1 Referee per team
  • Each team must consist of at least 12 members including players, staff and any family members and friends accompanying them
